About this foundation

Siebert Lutheran Foundation is an independent, private foundation established by Albert F. Siebert to advance Lutheran ministries. The foundation’s mission is to maximize collaboration, relationships, and funding to strengthen and grow organizations in the Lutheran Christian community. It concentrates funding into three priorities—Growing the Body of Christ; Educating while Sharing the Gospel; and Serving as the Hands and Feet of Christ—and describes geographic focus areas and desired outcomes for each. The site documents grant cycles and a two-step review process (LOI then full application) and provides downloadable LOI/application question PDFs and an online grants portal for submissions.
