About this foundation

The Harvest Foundation was established in 2002 from the sale of the Memorial Hospital and works to create a vibrant Martinsville-Henry County. The foundation invests in programs that stimulate economic development, promote education and improve quality of healthcare. Its stated focus areas include Thriving Youth, Vibrant Community, and a Resilient & Diverse Economy. Staff list program officers and the foundation encourages applicants to schedule appointments; applications are submitted via a cloud-based grants management system and reviewed by a Grants Committee and the Board.

Our goal is to create a vibrant Martinsville / Henry County for all citizens. We are continuously working towards this goal by investing in programs that stimulate economic development, promote education and improve the quality of healthcare.
