SEATTLE PEOPLES FUND
About this foundation
Seattle Peoples Fund, established in 2001, works to improve and expand mutual understanding and respect among diverse cultures in the Greater Seattle Area. The fund provides small grants to community-based organizations to assist communities in expressing and invigorating their cultural traditions, arts and languages through community engagement and community-building efforts. It prioritizes organizations organized by the communities being served and groups that may not have access to traditional funding. Between 2002 and 2024 it awarded over 280 small grants totaling more than $750,000. The fund welcomes proposals from organizations located within the Puget Sound region.
