Community Grants will be awarded on a case-by-case basis in the communities of Millport and Kennedy, Alabama; Fairmount, Georgia; North Lyon County, Kansas; Guntown, Houlka, Rienzi and Tishomingo, Mississippi. These grants will be considered for specific needs such as community centers, emergency services, technological upgrades and economic development.

Community Grants

Annual fund awarding grants to nonprofit organizations whose primary office or services are located in Thomas County, supporting local projects and capacity building.

Only nonprofit organizations whose primary office and/or services are located in Thomas County, Georgia are eligible to apply

Hosea Hall & Lilly Eason Vann Fund for Thomas County

Provides funds for course-marking safety and new initiatives that improve race/event safety. Funds are intended for additional safety measures and are generally paid directly to suppliers for materials or services; not for required services like onsite ambulances.

Event/Series Safety Support

Unsolicited general-support grants to nonprofit organizations (US-registered 501(c)(3) public charities; fiscally sponsored projects eligible). The program runs two unsolicited cycles per year, with awards up to $25,000 and priorities including agriculture, clean/safe drinking water, community engagement, water management, watershed advocacy, and racial equity.
