Must be a United Church of Christ (UCC) congregation located in Cuyahoga County | All requests must be approved by the church’s Pastor and Mission Outreach Representative | No pass-throughs; no capital investments or improvements for the Church; not designed to benefit only members of the congregation

Mission Outreach Fund

Board determines annual grants to certain 501(c)(3) entities or churches, but not to individuals.

Must be a 501(c)(3) entity or church (no individuals). | Attach a clear photocopy of the IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter or the church charter. | Provide the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or EIN of the ministry. | A completed application must be returned by the deadline of July 7, 2026.

The Warren Alpert Foundation accepts grants for medical research, medical education, and in some cases general education and basic human services grants.

Church & Faith-Based Grants

The Trustees meet several times a year, and the Contributionship accepts and processes applications for grants throughout the year. All applications and progress reports must be submitted online via the Blackbaud/YourCause portal.

The Contributionship does not fund the costs or expenses of existing staff allocated to a project it is asked to support. | The Trustees do not consider unsolicited operating proposals or operating seed money requests. | Organizations that have received a grant must 'rest' for a calendar year before submitting a new proposal. | Grant applications from an organization known to have discriminatory policies will not be considered.

McLean Contributionship Grants

Provides operating and program support to organizations that serve the poor and needy and educational opportunities to persons who would otherwise not be able to participate.

Applicant must be a Catholic or other nonprofit organization focused on providing aid to the poor and needy and educational opportunities | Organizations must follow the common financial report formats listed to be eligible

The Thomas C. and Sandra S. Sullivan Foundation

The RLC Family Foundation purpose is to help ensure that no child or family endures the trauma of child sexual abuse, to contribute meaningfully to the prevention of abuse and the promotion of recovery and resilience and to promote education opportunities for underserved populations.
