About this program
The Foundation conducts one annual grant cycle; applicants begin by submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) through the Foundation's online grants portal. Types of funding provided include General Operating Support (GOS), Program, and Capital (capital restricted to Los Angeles County).
Eligibility
- Must be certified as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Must provide services in one of the following counties: Los Angeles
- Imperial
- Riverside
- San Bernardino
- Ventura (prioritizes organizations based in and serving Los Angeles County)
- Must be in good standing with the California Franchise Tax Board and the California Registry of Charitable Trusts and upload a California Entity Status Letter (letters must be generated within 30 days of LOI submission
- boxes 1 AND 3 must be checked)
- Organizations that received a grant payment from the Foundation within the past three calendar years are not eligible to apply for the current grant cycle
