Eligibility
- Must be a nonprofit organization and have recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) as a public charity (Code 509(a))
- Have their organization's primary address located within CenterPoint Energy's footprint
- Previous grantees who have not submitted required reporting are ineligible
- No funding to individuals
- No funding for school clubs/organizations (bands, athletic teams, PTO/PTA) or 509(a)(3) Type III supporting organizations
