About this program

General operating support to neighborhood-based small and medium-sized organizations (operating budgets of $2 million or less) with ongoing commitment to long-term arts and/or environmental education programming serving children and youth in the Philadelphia area's most disadvantaged neighborhoods.

Eligibility

• Must be classified as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
• Operating budget of $2,000,000 or less
• Located in and serving constituents in the Philadelphia area
• Individuals, for-profit organizations, and those who do not have their own 501(c)(3) are not eligible
• Elementary, secondary or higher educational institutions are NOT considered for funding
• No capital projects
• endowments not considered
• Political groups, fraternal organizations, and religious organizations in support of their sacramental or theological functions will not be considered
