About this foundation

The Minnesota Power Foundation funds organizations that improve the health and vitality of communities in its service area. Grants are reviewed by the Foundation's board of directors and regional advisory committees with employee involvement in proposal review and priority setting. Grant applicants must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) or accredited schools. Successful applicants must return a signed grant agreement and provide a final report describing results.
