About this foundation

The Generac Foundation began operations in January 2023 to formalize Generac's long-standing community engagement and social responsibility. The site states the Foundation focuses its donations within four pillars: Education, Disaster Response, Energy Resilience and Community. It makes contributions to 501c3 charities (or U.S. equivalent) in communities with concentrations of Generac employees. The first step for consideration is an online application; requests can be submitted at any time and are reviewed by the Donations Committee and/or Foundation Board. The site links to giving guidelines and a downloadable PDF describing eligible programs and priorities.
