In many ways, giving to First Things is like offering a feast of hospitality. You provide the bounty with which beautiful projects are nourished. Projects like Mr. Juana's rice mill in Sierra Leone, Doña Let's rehabilitation center in Guatemala, Tamar's remote dental clinic in Georgia, or Sister Salome's rural education center in Mozambique. $10 allows Sister Salome to budget educational materials for her kids.$20 allows Mr. Juana to make essential trips to potential suppliers.$50 can enable Doña Leti to test a nutritional program for children.And these are just the beginning things. Field Workers have enabled some incredible, large scale projects too: new classrooms and computer labs, a village church, multiple wells for distant communities, a carpentry startup, and so much more.It's incredible what we can achieve together. Field workers who dedicate 2 years of their lives in service to those in need and you, our wonderful donors who make projects and dreams possible. It's a table surrounded by field workers, entrepreneurs, impresarios, and donors and laden with a feast both material and spiritual. Without you, there is no feast.And back home we are offering a similar vision via our restaurant and events.Keipi restaurant is our mission to Americans. We aren't in need the same way Mr. Juana or Tamar are - most of our material needs are met and then some. Instead we are offering a type of spiritual aid in the form of the Keipi dinner. It provides a way towards rich communities, shared human experiences, and beauty which has become obscured in an age of constant politics, deep fakes, and distrust.
