The Acorn-A School for Young Children offers developmentally appropriate educational opportunities for children ages 3 through 8. Learning through play in all the best ways possible, because Tall Oaks from Little Acorns Grow!

The Acorn&#39;s 46th Annual Fundraiser.&nbsp;This year we have two incredible fundraising opportunities. The Acorn Family Fun Day, &quot;Play is Powerful&quot; and An Evening for Purpose and Play, &quot;Raise Your Glass&quot;. Event #1: Family Fun Day, &quot;Play is Powerful&quot; was held on March 21st at The Acorn. Thank you for those who attended this event! Photos coming soon!______________________ Event #2: Wine and Cheese Silent Auction, An Evening for Purpose and Play, &quot;Raise your Glass&quot;. Enjoy an evening of community, drinks, live music, bidding on class projects, curated auction items, wine pull, and raising a toast to our Acorn - Tall Oaks campus. Those in attendance will have a chance to win a door prize. Must be present to win. An event for adults 21 &amp; up. The Acorn&#39;s Evening for Purpose and Play is THIS Saturday, March 28, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Tall Oaks School, 419 E. The Acorn-A School for Young Children is hosting its annual spring raffle for an Americus Diamond &quot;Circle of Support&quot; diamond necklace. It is $25.00 for each ticket. Drawing is scheduled to be held on Saturday, March 28th at 6:30pm. You do not need to be present to win. Class Projects & Teacher Experiences Auction

The Acorn School is celebrating 46 years of providing preschool through first-grade education to 135 children. As a non-profit, we maintain a low student-teacher ratio to ensure personalized, engaging learning. Despite the high-quality program we offer, we operate at a deficit of over $100,000 annually, which we cover through donations and fundraising. This year, our fundraiser is crucial as we&rsquo;ve made the pivotal decision to purchase a beautiful new property for our elementary school and will be adding second grade this coming school year. We plan to continue expanding each year, adding a new grade up to fifth grade. The Acorn School would not be successful without your support.
