This summer, CCACH is raising funds to sponsor children for CultureWorks Active Summer Camp.Many children do not get access to summer camp because cost is a barrier. For families already managing rising costs, even affordable camp fees can still be difficult to cover.CCACH CultureWorks Active Summer Camp gives youth in Grades 3–12 a safe, active, culturally affirming place to spend part of their summer. Camp takes place at The Orange Hub in Edmonton and includes soccer, basketball, flag football, hip hop and dance, cultural learning, mentorship, games, creativity, and community connection.A gift of $150 sponsors one child for one week of camp.A gift of $1,200 sponsors one child for the full 8-week summer.Your support helps a child stay active, build confidence, make friends, connect with African and Caribbean heritage, and spend the summer in a safe, structured, supervised environment.CCACH has served Edmonton’s African and Caribbean communities for nearly 40 years through culturally responsive programs that support education, identity, belonging, heritage, and opportunity.Help us make sure cost is not what keeps a child out of camp this summer.
