SAINT LUKES FOUNDATION OF CLEVELAND OHIO
About this foundation
Established in 1997 from the dissolution of Saint Luke’s Medical Center, Saint Luke’s Foundation works to improve social and physical well-being in Buckeye-Shaker, Woodhill, Mt. Pleasant and across Cuyahoga County. The foundation centers health equity and partners with community leaders and organizations across five strategies (Belonging & People Power; Economic Vitality; Holistic Well-Being; Lifelong Learning; Placemaking & Placekeeping). It operates three funding streams (Board Grants, Staff Discretionary Grants, Community Grants) and uses participatory grantmaking and trust-based/philanthropy approaches to support local projects and strategy partners.
Funding focus
Our mission is to improve and transform the social and physical well-being of individuals and families in the Buckeye-Shaker, Woodhill, and Mt. Pleasant neighborhoods surrounding Saint Luke’s and throughout Cuyahoga County.
