About this foundation

The Sigourney Award Trust, established by Mary Sigourney, recognizes exceptional contributions that advance psychoanalytic thought and practice worldwide. The Trust honors work produced within the prior decade and welcomes submissions from clinicians, theorists, artists, researchers, teams, and organizations. Emphasis is placed on work that deepens psychoanalytic theory or clinical practice, bridges disciplines, advances social justice, and expands public awareness. Recipients receive a monetary award and join an international community of honorees.
