About this program

The Foundation’s Grants Initiative supports work in Literacy, Principal & Teacher Leadership, Career Readiness, and Mentorship through partnerships with local nonprofit organizations and institutions.

Eligibility

• Align with some or all of the Foundation’s Key Initiatives (Literacy
• Principal & Teacher Leadership
• Career Readiness
• Mentorship)
• Operate within Middle Tennessee
• Minimum of two years of financial and programmatic results
• Minimum operating budget of $250,000 if based in Davidson or Williamson Counties
• $100,000 for other Middle Tennessee counties
• All organizations should have at least three revenue sources
• Does not fund building and capital campaigns or debt retirement
• Does not fund individuals
• Does not fund legislative lobbying or other political activities
