The Oak Hill Fund is a private family foundation (formed in 2002) that operates a Healthy People – Healthy Planet portfolio of six program areas and accepts letters of inquiry via an online grantee portal for open programs. It only awards grants to organizations tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3).

Food Security (By invitation only)

Grants are given by the Waxahachie Foundation to charitable organizations in Waxahachie and the Waxahachie area. Applications are first considered by the Grants Committee.

Must be a charitable organization (501(c)(3) or other qualified charity) | Must be located in or serve Waxahachie / the Waxahachie area | Must provide most recent fiscal year statement of income and expenses

Waxahachie Foundation Grants

Supports efforts that advance health equity and increase access to high-quality healthcare for underserved and vulnerable populations; serves communities throughout Idaho, Montana, and Oregon.

Must be a 501(c)(3) organization or meet IRS requirements for a tax-exempt organization | Organizations may apply once per year | Must not have another active grant | No funding for faith-based proposals, research, art, politics, or advocacy | No funding for events or capital campaigns / brick-and-mortar needs

PacificSource Foundation Grants

Organizations headquartered in the City of Chicago or Benzie County, MI working in one or more focus areas are eligible to apply for general operating or project/program support; award amounts are fixed based on organization size.

Must be a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in the City of Chicago or Benzie County, MI | Annual operating expenses under $2.5 million (organizations over $2.5M are generally ineligible) | Organizations must wait one year after their most recent LOI submission before submitting a new one | No funding for religious activities, political campaigns, or legislative lobbying

Community Grants

Organizations invited by a member of the Seabury Family may apply for up to $25,000 in general operating or project/program support.

Must be a 501(c)(3) organization invited by a Seabury Family sponsor | Organizations with annual operating expenses in excess of $2.5 million may only apply for project/program support | No funding for religious activities, political campaigns, or legislative lobbying

Family Grants

A $250,000 award recognizing partnerships in rural Indiana that work together to strengthen their communities across sustainability, agriculture, health, local industry, civic involvement, and more.

Partnership must include minimum of 2 organizations or groups | Based in or serving rural Indiana | If a formal organization holds 501(c)(3) status, include IRS determination letter with the application | An organization may be the primary lead contact for only one application

Robert H. McKinney Legacy Prize

Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque is a community foundation serving Eastern Iowa that lists multiple grant programs for nonprofit organizations on a central Grants hub; applications are handled via a GOapply portal and by contacting the grants manager.

Must be located in a community within 40 miles of any Theisen's store | Must be a nonprofit organization

Theisen’s More For Your Community Grants

Funds programs or projects that provide or support the provision of basic necessities to displaced and/or underserved populations (examples: food, hygiene products, housing, utility assistance, emergency shelter, job training, childcare, eldercare).

Tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code | Minimum annual operating budget of $200,000 | Three most recent Form 990s that have been filed with the IRS (do not accept Form 990-EZ) | Independently audited financial statements | Serve residents within listed Southeast Michigan counties (Oakland, Macomb, Wayne, Washtenaw, Genesee, Livingston, Lapeer, Shiawassee, Lenawee, Monroe, St. Clair) | Sign and consent to the Shared Mission Foundation Grant Agreement | Allow initial and ongoing site visits | Provide ongoing program or project updates and, if requested, program or project budgets and current financials | Written report must be submitted before grantee may submit another application
