Must be a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity | Applicant must be Catholic: listed in the Official Catholic Directory (edition & page number required) | Projects must take place within the United States or its territories | Construction/renovation projects over $200,000 are not eligible until 50% of total cost is in hand, signed contract exists, and construction is underway | No requests by or for individuals (including tuition, scholarships, fellowships) | No endowment funds | No reduction of debt | No funding for anything completed, purchased or accomplished prior to the board meetings

Domestic Program

Board determines annual grants to certain 501(c)(3) entities or churches, but not to individuals.

Must be a 501(c)(3) entity or church (no individuals). | Attach a clear photocopy of the IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter or the church charter. | Provide the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or EIN of the ministry. | A completed application must be returned by the deadline of July 7, 2026.

Tom Raper Foundation Grants

VCF awards grants that align with our vision and guidelines, providing assistance for a variety of projects that make an impact on the quality of life for Vermeer team members and their communities.

Must be a non-profit organization (not individuals, endowments or foundations) | Based in Pella, IA or communities in which Vermeer team members reside | Include documentation of 501(c)(3) | One proposal per year, per organization

Vermeer Charitable Foundation Grants

Siebert Lutheran Foundation focuses its funding on ministries and projects based in Lutheran churches and organizations that align with its stated funding priorities.

Must be a Lutheran church or Lutheran organization (ELCA, LCMS, or WELS) | An organization may only have one active Siebert Lutheran Foundation grant each calendar year | LOI (Letter of Inquiry) required prior to completing a full grant application | Capital amount requested on LOI/Application should not exceed 10% of the project budget

Siebert Lutheran Foundation Grants

Kingdom Foundation is a faith-inspired movement backing institutions, churches, enterprises and communities across Africa. It provides catalytic capital and runs open grant calls (listed on /grants) for community organizations.

Registered community organizations, churches, social enterprises, cooperatives and grassroots networks | Must be based in or serving countries across the African continent

Church & Faith-Based Grants

Foundation-wide grantmaking: accepts letter applications (no online form) and funds public charities with priorities including graduate theological education (US & Canada), performing arts in Richmond (activity must occur within the Richmond City limits), museums for Asian art, support for LGBT persons of faith, and selected community health nursing programs.

Must be a public charity (IRS determination letter showing 501(c)(3) status) and not a private foundation under Code Section 509(a) | Applications must be postmarked or private carrier dated on or before Jan 31 or July 15 depending on meeting | One request per organization in a calendar year | Enclose one copy of current and immediately preceding fiscal year financial statements and, if required, most recently filed Form 990 | Generally will not consider requests to support private secondary education, individuals, local religious congregations, or large public charities (e.g., American Red Cross)

E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation Grants

Provides grants to non-profit applicants for projects and programs which integrate spiritual and physiological approaches to health, including training, delivery of care where a spiritual component exists, and research on spiritual components' impact on health outcomes.

Grants to promote the Integration of Spirituality and Medicine

General grants to 501(c)(3) organizations whose primary purpose and programs align with the Foundation's Christian mission (feeding the hungry, clean water, shelter, clothing, healing the sick, prison ministry; evangelism and missions).

Must be a 501(c)(3) organization | Cannot be an individual applicant | Must meet THE LORD’S FOUNDATION, INC.'s mission and by‑laws (primary purpose must align with Christ's teachings)
