Organizations invited by a member of the Seabury Family may apply for up to $25,000 in general operating or project/program support.

Must be a 501(c)(3) organization invited by a Seabury Family sponsor | Organizations with annual operating expenses in excess of $2.5 million may only apply for project/program support | No funding for religious activities, political campaigns, or legislative lobbying

Family Grants

A targeted RFP supporting novel methods development and research that advances understanding of aquatic symbioses (marine and freshwater), requiring interdisciplinary teams and microbial partners.

Each proposal must be submitted by a team of two researchers. | One researcher must have demonstrated expertise in aquatic symbiosis. | One researcher must have complementary expertise that strengthens the project. | Symbioses within scope must inhabit an aquatic environment and include a microbial partner. | An individual may participate in only one proposal submission in response to this solicitation.

Symbiosis in Aquatic Systems Initiative

Supports Black and Indigenous-led social justice organizations and projects in the U.S.; awards of up to $10,000 and applicants complete a brief "get to know you" questionnaire.
