Supports research into psychological and social wellbeing after spinal cord injury; funds postdoctoral fellowships, investigational grants, and interventional testing to develop and test psychosocial interventions.

Psychosocial Research

Supports Kern County nonprofits; funds capital projects and programmatic work that create measurable, lasting impact in Kern County.

Must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in good standing | Proposed work must directly benefit Kern County communities | Request support only for capital projects or programmatic work aligning with stated focus areas | General operating requests are not eligible

The Elder Foundation Grants

Monetary grants to established nonprofit organizations to improve quality of life and opportunity among Kentuckians with diminished economic opportunities (poverty, poor health, disability, inequality), targeting rural areas, small towns, and areas of special need.

Kentucky Social Welfare Foundation Grants

Grants focusing on art, music, dance, drama, and recreation for children with special needs; applicants should complete the online application and provide a detailed budget.

Applicant must be a non-profit organization or an individual applying for a service or support. | All programs must serve children with special needs. | Inclusive programs must have no less than 1/3 of the participants with disabilities. | Complete all sections of the grant application and submit all materials by the deadline. | Programs may receive grant funding once per calendar year (individuals are not limited).

Theresa Foundation Grant Program

Provides grants to qualified public charities and government units to support activities that increase the health and well-being of Jefferson County residents; funding categories include program support, capacity building, and capital projects.
