About this program

Provide long-term support to grassroots community-based organizers and advocates, low wage workers, and other change agents working among people of color, low-income youth, immigrants, refugees and other underserved populations.

Eligibility

• Must be a 501(c)(3) public charity or apply through a qualifying fiscal sponsor
• No requests from individuals
• No religious institutions or activities
• No scholarships
• No protection of wildlands, wildlife, water conservation or land trusts
• No colleges, universities, schools or programs for schools
• no camps
• No endowments, capital campaigns, deficit financing
• No internationally based organizations (international funding only via two partners)
• Organizations with annual budgets over $1M are ineligible
