Because unsolicited applications are not accepted, prospective organizations should pursue relationship-based routes: align proposals tightly with the foundation's program areas and scaling focus, seek introductions via current grantees or intermediary partners, engage relevant program staff or participate in collaborative initiatives the foundation supports, and demonstrate capacity for large-scale, evidence-based work. Cold submission is unlikely to be productive.
