Organizations should pursue introductions through local intermediaries, board/trustee networks, or existing grantees rather than sending cold applications; tailor requests to the foundation's typical small-grant amounts and emphasize local impact in education, Jewish community services, food security, health, or youth programs. Because the foundation uses a preselection process, cultivating relationships and referrals from past recipients or regional philanthropic connectors is the most practical path to be considered.
