Because grants are described as by invitation, the most effective route is relationship-based: seek introductions from past grantees or intermediaries the foundation has funded, demonstrate clear mission alignment with its stated focus areas, and propose requests sized to the foundation’s typical small grants. Unsolicited full proposals are unlikely to be welcomed; a brief inquiry routed via a known contact or a concise one-page summary after an introduction is more appropriate.
