Volunteer Support

Unsolicited mass applications are unlikely to be effective; organizations should pursue introductions through the recurring recipients (for example, the county sheriff's office or local community foundation) or seek a board/board-member introduction listed on the funder's website. When engaging, proposals should be tightly scoped to volunteer support or SAR training, demonstrate clear local impact, and ideally include an endorsement from a known local partner.
