Because grants are primarily by preselection and unsolicited requests are not reviewed, the practical route into the portfolio is through relationship and network channels: partner with or be recommended by existing grantees or intermediaries, participate in relevant coalitions and field-building activities, and demonstrate capacity at the scale the foundation funds. Public materials and team bios are available for research, but direct unsolicited proposals are unlikely to be considered.
