Zeffy is all-in-one and free: donations, events, auctions, raffles, peer-to-peer, a store and memberships, with a donor CRM built in. Qgiv, now called Bloomerang Fundraising, is a fundraising add-on: it costs from $40/month and can only be bought with Bloomerang CRM, from $125/month, both billed annually. Bloomerang Payments also takes 3.95% + $0.30 on every card gift, and Qgiv has no raffle product.
Yes. Qgiv is now Bloomerang Fundraising, part of Bloomerang's Giving Platform. Bloomerang calls it "formerly Qgiv": the same auction, event, peer-to-peer, text fundraising and donation form tools under a new name, and qgiv.com now sends its product pages to bloomerang.com. The suite is sold with Bloomerang CRM, which has its own comparison: see Bloomerang vs Zeffy.
Qgiv can't be bought on its own. It costs from $40/month and is only sold with Bloomerang CRM, from $125/month, both billed annually.
Together, the two starting prices come to $165 a month, or $1,980 a year, before processing. Zeffy has no subscription and no processing fee: see how Zeffy is free. Source: bloomerang.com, October 2026.
Qgiv processes gifts through Bloomerang Payments, built on Stripe. Your nonprofit pays these rates:
A $100 card gift leaves your nonprofit $95.75, or $94.75 on peer-to-peer. GiftAssist asks donors to add the fee to their gift, and it is preselected by default on new donation and peer-to-peer forms. On Zeffy, the same $100 gift arrives whole, and a donor's optional contribution to Zeffy never changes that.
No. Bloomerang's pricing page lists no free plan. Qgiv costs from $40/month and is only sold with Bloomerang CRM from $125/month, both billed annually, and every gift pays processing. Peer-to-peer is not free either: it adds 1% per gift. Zeffy has no paid plan at all.
Yes. Qgiv can't be bought on its own. Bloomerang's pricing page says Bloomerang Fundraising "must be purchased as part of bundle with Bloomerang CRM". That means Qgiv from $40/month plus Bloomerang CRM from $125/month. Memberships also run in the CRM. Zeffy needs no second product: its CRM is complete, and it's free. A donation, an auction win or a renewed membership updates the donor's record by itself, and saved lists refresh as donors qualify. Automations send receipts and a welcome series. Ask the AI Data Assistant a question about your donors, and it answers with a chart.
Choose Qgiv if you already use Bloomerang CRM, run large auctions where paid on-site help, card readers or kiosks matter, or need PayPal and Venmo at checkout. Choose Zeffy if you want fundraising and a donor CRM in one free platform, with raffles, auctions, events, peer-to-peer, a store and memberships included, set up yourself, without a subscription or a fee on any gift.
Yes. Zeffy charges no subscription, no processing fee and no peer-to-peer surcharge, so a $100 card gift reaches your nonprofit in full. Donors see an optional contribution to Zeffy at checkout. It is how Zeffy is funded, and it never comes out of your gift. See how Zeffy is free.

As a startup nonprofit with only two members, and no funding (yet) we’d need something with low (or no) fees. Zeffy was a dream come true.
